On Saturday 9^th August, 3 teams of students took on all the schools of Aotearoa in a programming challenge. Teams from all over NZ met up in university or school computer centres. The buzz inn the UC centre was electric. There were 53 teams in the High School Challenge section this year.

Five hours later, tired but satisfied teams surveyed the results:

LHS’s top team, Syntax Terror, finished 2^nd in South Island team (form Nelson to Invercargill). Teams Jonh Coding and O(-n) both finished close to the halfway mark.

We are building skill in the programming challenge arena, and we are very proud of these teams achievements.
