During the holidays our 10A Netball team competed at the SISS Junior Tournament at Ngā Puna Wai. The team started strong with a win and a loss on Day 1, then faced Central Southland on Day 2 for a spot in the top 16. It was a nail biting match going goal for goal in the last few minutes, unfortunately the girls went down by just 1 goal (28–29). They bounced back by winning 4 of their last 5 games, finishing the tournament in 21st place in a highly competitive field. The girls showed a lot of determination, resilience and represented the school with pride. Thanks to the amazing management team of coach Nicola Johnston and manager Kelly Morris as well as many parents who supported the team throughout the week.
